RUNNING COLD WATER: DOES IT REALLY COOL A ROOM?

Many folks believe running cold water through a pipe system can significantly cool their room. While it's true that moving any water does shift heat, the effect on a whole room is limited. Cold water mainly cools the air, not cooling the entire space. The amount of heat transferred by a small amount of cold water is quite modest. Air circulation
